The Zotac IONITX-A-U comes with the 90W power brick. The board being used for the competition needs a standard 20-pin ATX power connector, and power for every other device in the system. The...

I wasn't aware a fan had no moving parts.

Anyway, this looks like a good idea, you could use some of the holes in the sponge as fan openings.

The heatsink sticks up slightly further than the RAM does, I just finished making a mod with the Zotac IONITX-A-U, which is exactly the same as this motherboard except the included picoPSU with the...

You need a hard drive to make a computer work. Just mount it under the motherboard or something. The only thing that MIGHT work would be a eSATA hard drive, which this board has 1 spot for.

The current design wouldn't work, the Blu-Ray drive would be occupying some of the same space as the motherboard heatsink/RAM. It's a fairly good idea, but you'd have to have extremely thick books to...

I used this board and installed Windows 7 RC 64bit on it. I ran 3DMark06, and the scores are in this thread: http://www.modders-inc.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3614

That idea leaves no room for anything other than the DVD player and 2.5" harddrive, if it actually has fish in it, or water. http://www.modders-inc.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3473...

You could try changing the Bonsai tree to be split at the bottom, then turn into the Nvidia logo, and join up at the top. That might be neat to see.

The board they're using is the Zotac IONITX-D-E. The IONITX-D-E uses a standard ATX 20-pin power connector.

Right now I'm still waiting on more RAM, so it runs pretty slowly right now. I also need to add a few more fans to keep it from getting too warm, it gets to 85C with Prime95 SmallFFT test, so I want...

Looks like it'd have to be fairly big if your making it functional. Another way you could do this is by making it like those new digital rubik's cubes with touchscreens, to keep it smaller.

The CPU fan doesn't exhaust air, it intakes cool air over the CPU so it doesn't overheat. If you were to water-cool it, you'd run tubing through the water in the fish tank, to the base, where there...

The wireless cards on the IONITX boards from Zotac have 2 antenna ports. Why don't you make the back-panel antenna optional by putting one inside the stick holding it to the base?
