Wow, what a light show, how many fans to you have in that unit? I noticed that you have two fan controllers, are they full? Thanks for sharing with us and Happy Modding to ya.

Cool! What is the red button for? And what of the hinges in the front? What do they do? What are those video cards? What was that case originally? Do you have a worklog, or at least some progress photos?

10 fans! but that's counting the fan in the power supply and everything

the red button is the power switch. I ripped the front off that case and had to improvise a new switch.

it was originally a Cooler Master Praetorian PAC-T01-EK. sorry no worklog

    specs are:
    Intel Badaxe2 mobo
    Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3GHz
Antec TruePower Quattro 850W Power Supply
video card is just an 8600 GTS for now, I'm waiting to upgrade when the 9800 GTX comes out

Thanks for the response about the fans. How is the cooling in this unit? Are you temps on the low side and how about the sound of the unit. Are your fans on the low side of the noise spectrum? Thanks for the sharing of your unit and Happy Modding to ya.

I have the fan speeds turned down, so it's pretty quite. with the speed turned up it sounds somewhat like a hair dryer though

according to Intel Thermal Analysis Tool CPU idle temp is 40c load temp is 58c.
