I have a motherboard running integrated graphics (ati radeon xpress 200) and a seperate nvidia pci card. I want to run the integrated graphics as the primary, and then just use the pci to drive a secondary screen. I know this is possible with 2 dedicated video cards, but I wasn't sure about this situation.
Also, assuming I can get that working, I have a 15" LCD one or two workdays away from being mounted in a side panel (whenever i stop being lazy and work on it). The PCI video card from above would be driving it, but the card only has a DVI and S-video output, and the LCD only takes VGA. The video card has solderpoints for a VGA port (there is a VGA only version of the card as well), and I was wondering if I should solder up a cable from there, or if I should just run the cable from the LCD out the back of the case and through a DVI->VGA adaptor.
