    Cheapest/Best Value SLI Cards?

    What's the cheapest set of cards I can run SLI and still get great performance? Maybe the 8600?

    Cheapest/Best Value SLI Cards?

    hmm are you looking to just have an SLI setup or will it be used on a daily basis?

    I would say the 8600 would be a good bet as you can get a decent one for around $65 -80 each.

    Cheapest/Best Value SLI Cards?

    I have XFX 8600GT

    Was thinking of getting another1 (they're fairly cheap if you ask me..) but I decided to rather get another 500gig HDD heh ^_^;

    As I've read on the net about SLi setup, you don't get "that much more" juice out of the cards.. But still, your personal opinion

    Cheapest/Best Value SLI Cards?

    Oddly enough there also seems to be a power savings when you go to the SLI mode as compared to a single card of the same SLI set-up. Higher res and less power? Why not?

    Price of the card vs. power savings?

    not sure... hmms..

    LOL I'm not suggesting the power savings is going to offset the price of the card but in some cases that could very well prove to be true. I'm only suggesting it is a side benefit for those considering that type of setup.
    An SLI or ATI Crossover setup coupled with an LCD monitor could prove to be a significant savings for those using a single card and CRT setup. Especially for anyone does long hours of gaming.
