    C-macc's 2 small mod log ..

    Hi there

thought id post post progress of c-macc's 2 my erm small project that taken quite a while to build and still is taking a while.

C-macc's 2 first off means Complete Multi arcade computer console system... and no 2 because this is the second one ive built.

I think pics speak louder than words so ill crack on ..

    First built a frame

    Then built up the sides.

    Then Built the CP

    did a little painting

did a bit more work on the cp

did some engraving on the plexi

    wired up some electronics's

    Lighted her up a little

a little vid of the lights ->

Built here up a little more with the touch screen now connected.

    Kids play testing the basics

    PC for c-macc's half built.

that's about it for now ...

enjoy will post more once it gets further on ....

Love the layout of it. Most people use the tradition big box units when making an arcade but yours looks so much cleaner. What did you use to make all the controllers? Did you buy a pre-built controller and disassemble it and reassemble it where you wanted? Could you give us some more detail on this?

The lighting is just spectacular. Amazing work all around really. My kids would die for something like that. FYI: I think I'm going to make you the featured mod for this week. : )

There is a full project log i just a quick one on here.

As for the control's ill post a pic these are all arcade controls that i bought and the joy sticks have to be programmed for them to work correctly.

The joysticks are called Ultra Stik 360 from Ultimarc. These sticks change from being a PC mouse to a roller ball to a spinner to a Digital stick to a Analogue stick. More info can be found here - http://www.ultimarc.com/ultrastik_info.html .
The stick are fully programmable unlike most joy sticks were you program just the button you can all so program the joystick it self.

Below id pics of the Digital Ultrastick 360 being configured.

    .

The concept i did in 3d is on you tube here ->

    Few concept pics ->

these are some of the wiring guides i did as well for just some of the components.

    J-Pac Guide

    2 Player I-Pac

lol people see the word arcade and think boring standard arcade system lol .

I get it off all manufactures when trying for sponsor ship sort of get used to it lol.

if you look through the logs youll see pics of no 3 i might have a go at building . having a very retro look once no 2 is finished.

Nothing boring about em at all. Even the standard box type ones. Yours really shine though. I've thought about making an older style sit down one for my kids a couple of times. I know they would really go nutz over this type of things.

Keep us updated on progress please!
