    Motherboard header voltage

I want to make a capacitive momentary switch for a mod, but I need to know what voltage the motherboard supplies through the header (and usually the power switch, when it's pressed down)

I'd assume it's a low voltage, either 3.3 or 5V, but I don't know and can't find the information after searching on various forums and sites for a while. The problem is that I get loads of results saying the voltages of the different PSU pins.

So does anyone know the voltage? I'd rather not risk damaging my Atom board (although it's having a problem I might describe later in this thread)

Not exactly sure i know what you are talking about but, couldn't you just hook a VOM to it and find out?

    Motherboard header voltage

I have no idea why I didn't think of that, but the circuit I wanted to use to turn the mobo on didn't work anyway :P
