Looking for a cost effective Video card

    Time to upgrade...
I'm looking for a cost effective, Modern card - but all I found was "HDTV" features which cost a lot... I don't need HDTV that much, i need a good gaming card
I'm into 7800's models, any help will be apriciated

does 128 and 256 bit make that lot of difference? because it sure does to the final price...
plus there are 256MB and 512Mb cards, should I invest for the 256 bit card or the one with the more memory? decisions decisions... once it was easier... u had the video memory and that's it... :-)

256 bit 256 mb i would go with. you want see much of a difference with 512 mb except for bragging rights. is this pci-e or agp?

I would go for the 7600GT, it's same or faster performance as the x850XT PLUS it's very energy efficient. You could even find some fanless models for a little extra $$

im running a 7800gt (overclocked from bfg), and I think it was a really good deal(used from ebay), but any of the BFG cards are gaming oriented, and offer a lifetime warranty. shop aaroud though, there is a huge price difference between stores.

doh forgot about 7600 im a fanboy but pricewise i would go for the 850 but fi you have the extra cash (30 bucks more) get the gt you will not regret it.

mm can't buy anything right now... just got back from north Israel (where all the rockets are falling...) anyway here the prices are a bit higher and the lower card could cost more then the more expensive from USA...
