DIY Hot Wire Acrylic Bending Plans?

Hey everyone, first post here. Very cool forum!

I want to make myself a cheapo hot wire bending table for bending acrylic sheet. I was thinking an old PSU would serve as the power source using the 12v wire. I've read the PSU needs to deliver 12v at around 10 amps to heat a section of 20g Nichrome wire hot enough to bend acrylic. Does anyone know how to wire a PSU to do such a thing?

Or has anyone here made a Nichrome bending rig to use on their acrylic work?
