    ZEROtherm Gamer Edition VGA Coolers

Sitting down at a computer to play several hours of your favorite game will put your video card through the paces and this can cause performance drops as the card heats up. ZEROtherm has sent me a set of their GX815 Gamer Edition VGA coolers to test on my XFX 7900 GS cards in SLI.

    Check out the review here.

You read the review? Page 4 shows the performance that I achieved on my two 7900GS cards overclocked.

I see in one of your last photos that your SLI bridge is different than mine. I have a solid hard unit where yours is the flexible type. Being that I have the solid type do you think that it might interfere with the cooling units fins? Happy Modding to ya.

I tested two different setups bilko. The first one has the actual PCB bridge your talking about.

Thanks for the quick reply and happy to see that there is plenty of room and the pricing is really decent where I could even afford them. Happy Modding to ya.

That sure is a tight fit!

if I understood the 2 graphs right, the one on the top heats more that the one on the bottom? I was never good at graphs :'(

Yes, the first configuration only has one slot between cards and limits airflow a lot. The second one has two slots between the cards allowing for more air to be pulled in by the (top - 1st video card to the mb) card.

Yes the top one will suck heat off the bottom one in both situations... Its still better cooling performance than the stock one.
