    Steelseries Steelpad 5L

Your mouse is only as good as the surface it rides on, why buy a top of the line mouse and put it on a cheap pad. The Steelpad 5L professional gaming mouse pad gives your mouse the surface it needs to do the job accurately.

Yup, I agree. I honestly haven't found any better pads than the Steelpads. I am still using the Steelpad S&S that I reviewed a little while back and love it.

I remember when I first bought this for one of my friends, I was SHOCKED by how big it was lol my mouse pad back then was only the 1/4 of it! *ahem* anyway, my friend loves this pad. Kinda hard to find it in Canada though

ALMOST as good is the kitchen cutting boards you can find at most big stores, ultra slick/smooth and usually about $10.
That said I am using a Ratspadz right now, better but for budgeters a good plastic cutting board works great as well, just need to add a bit of duct tape on the bottom to hold it (bonus 2 sides)

Been there done that and the cutting boards do work pretty well.
