SFF HOT ROD (case mod for PCDesignlab) Ready!

From the looks of what you did to the case really makes it one to be reckoned with. I would buy it just to see if I could do something on the order of what you did. Your work on that case is superb. Happy Modding to ya.

    Thanks guys!

The Case is the Qmicra v2, http://www.pcdesignlab.com/

Awhile back, I made this video of how I painted the unfinished alum case.

Heres another one I modded for them, this one was called "Alien Labyrinth"

After watching that video it gave me the urge to go out and buy that case. Man, that was one sweet unit you did and I want it. Even if it was just a plain black case, you did a fantastic job on it and it was fabulous. Happy Modding to ya.

That is really nice, great video and yes, I now want to purchase that case. I'm kind of surprised that you can't mount 120mm fans in those front holes, it seems like you should be able to. It would also be cool if they made a bottom extension box for phase change. Imagine showing up at a lan with a phase change - cooled sff!

Thank you guys! Dave really appreciated the feed back too! Made in the USA baby!!

You could modify it, but its easier to mount 2, 120mm fans in the side, in the "optional radiator" mount bracket.

Like em3bilko said after watching that video it really makes me want one of those cases. Too bad it's way outta my price range. Very nicely built though.

Understood, but you're getting something very unique and personalized service directly from it's designer/builder. It was a real treat having him at Mnpctech I had him perform a system install in the Qmicra v2 SFF case he manufacturers in Rochester, NY. Dave shows you why his case is the best performing sff in the market. Is your heatsink sandwhiched between three 120mm fans? You can with a Qmicra v2.

Each time I see this case I want to go out and get one. In fact this time I asked the wife and she said when pigs fly. I haven't seen any yet, but when I do she'll be the first to know. lol Happy Modding to ya.

I'll let ya know if I see any fly over here Shorty

It arrived at PCDesignLab's office for photos and ... it... looks... awesome!!!

This mod is now available for sale here! The Alien Labyrinth mod went quick so you should probably act quick if you're interested in Hot Rod v2! In fact, someone better take it before Dave decides to keep it for myself!
