How big is the motherboard, am i understanding correctly that it is 17cmx17cm?
BTW > I bet the sponsor is OCZ. Im just gonna take a stab. Because you said they do both memory and harddrives. Only other big options would be G.SKill or Kingston and i think OCZ is a little more involved with competitions like this. But i could be wrong...

    I have a question....Can I have one? Pleeeeaaaase.

Seriously though this contest should be really cool. This thing is so small the idea potential is through the roof. Already we are getting some really awesome ideas. Am I allowed to post ideas? I know I can't win anything but still. I may have ideas.

Hmmm....thats a really great question Sheldog23...I know I have a few ideas and would love to post them, but I do need to keep one for QuakeCon ;-)

I think will have to as NVIDIA on this one, but you might be able to offer your idea to someone else.

Whats the height of the board??

EDIT: Wait what? We are using the D-E model of motherboard?. Erm, where are we gonna stick a full sized powersupply? Because the spec sheet shows the D-E as not having the AC adapter but needing a standard ATX PSU. We need to be using A-U.

I have already pointed that out to NVIDIA but please don't let that stop the ideas as we can try and get those pico power supplies

how fully realized does a mod idea have to be for it to qualify as an entry? I understand we need a pic and words, but can I say : Toilet mod, draw a picture of a toilet with the mobo in the tank, and call it done?

Or do I have to have dimensions and screw hole locations, etc?

I figure its up to the master modder to improvise within the concept, but I don't want to be too vague, nor spend hours drawing something up in sketchup with accurate dimensions/thicknesses, etc.

Also, I may have missed this, but when is the deadline for entries?
    Edit: nvm

    5. ENTRY PERIOD
The entry period for this Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific Daylight Saving Time) on July 13, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Saving Time) on August 10, 2009

Edit2: I've submitted my entry, hope it's enough.
