Sweet. I see you decided not to go with the desk destroying points.
-I'm suffering from mill envy now... My table area feels tiny and insignificant.

    Marks expression there is hilarious...

the caption or thought bubble should read:

"Cold beer and the game? Ohhh noooo because I am here on a SUNDAY cutting Spider Legs for a toy computer..."

    How thick are those?

Got some work done over the weekend. I got a piece of scrap Lian Li black side panel that I will use to make the bottom plate and the corner pieces.

I cut the corner pieces out (8 in all) and proceeded to bend each one 45° using my home-made bending brake.

All bent. I filed them down as a group to even them out.

Then I notched each one and made tabs on one end. I added a groove to aid in bending. The tabs will be drilled and tapped to secure the top and bottom plates to them.

Here are the sides. I have already assembled them, adding a uv green strip in between the two black pieces.

And here are some of the decorative pieces I made for the sides. I also incorporated the 60mm fan grill into them.

Will continue the corner pieces tonight. If you are puzzled about how it's going to work, all will become clear soon!
