No big progress pics, but I here we have a couple images of some items to expect to see. Alduin, The World Eater" himself, 50 LEDs and well some 1/4" plexi that I don't have a pick of. Got the plexi and LEDs in today. Stay tuned, as I do have more images to come soon, and hopefully they will be more interesting. Sorry for the slow going on the pics and updates, but rain, life, injuries and pain have slowed things considerably. Rest assured she will be at QC 2013.

Thanks Boddaker, I hope it turns out well.

Chassis and other parts ready for base coats as of today. Hopefully will have up some color pics tomorrow. I am doing some of my funky paint work for the chassis, that should turn out sweet... if all goes well.

Then the outer panels, I will be doing a bit different as well. If what I have planned works out, the outer panels will all be hand painted by two very good artists that I know. More to come on that.

    Chassis Sprayed 7-20-2013

Ok, so I sprayed a base coat of Hammered Metal Copper as my base coat. My attempt here was to top coat with Red Anodized Metalcast, to get a more molten color with the metallic bouncing light from the waves etc in the Hammered paint.

The Hammered Copper turned out great. Now, if the rain and humidity will just cooperate things should pop once the Red Anodized Metalcast is applied.

Well, the rain hit right in the midst of painting the top coat. Thus, the humidity played havoc on my top coat. Still turned out ok, but it was not the effect I planned for. Oh well, maybe a tad less sparkle, but still looks good enough to go.

Oh btw, the chassis panel edges and feet will not be red at all in the finished product.

    Update 7-21-2013 ...

Well today it was just too humid and wet again, so I got worked on some detail sanding and adding the Dragon Wall to the top panel.

I used Loctite Plastic Epoxy to attach the to pieces together, after first drilling many little holes in both pieces so that the Epoxy would have an even better grip on the pieces. If you look close you can see where the glue came through the small holes, btw - the big holes are for what I am using to mold it together, for that seamless look. Needless to say, if it comes off ... it will be catastrophic damage. lol

And an angled rear view, I had yet to drill the larger side holes into the top panel before the pics. There are several areas that will have to be blended in, both with a tad of molding and painting.

    More to come.

    Nature's Modding Supplies! ;)

Well with all the rain I have had and the humidity at 100% (has dropped to just under 80% no but still lol), painting has been a PITA to say the least. So, late yesterday I visited Nature's Mod Supplies and picked up a few items.

Warning: One large pine tree may have been slightly assaulted, but not harmed in this shopping trip. LOL

With a small amount of trimming, sanding and shaping these should work out just fine.
