Thanos is a fictional comic book character, a supervillain that has appeared in books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Iron Man #55 (Feb. 1973) and was created by writer-artist Jim Starlin. Debuting in the Bronze Age of Comic Books, the character has been featured in over four decades of Marvel continuity and a self-titled series. Thanos has appeared in other Marvel-endorsed products, includinganimated television series, arcade and video games, toys and trading cards. Thanos appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a non-speaking cameo at the end of the 2012 film The Avengers, and Josh Brolin portrays him in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy and will reprise the role for future films.

First up we have to drill out all the rivets to break down the case so we can prep it for paint.

Alllllllrighty then....after a very long rainy season. I am able to finally get some paint put down on this bad boy. Going with Metallic Blue for the Chassis as to represent the bulk of Thanos's armor.

Ok guys the paint on the chassis is done. I really like the way the Rustolium Metallic Blue came out. I think i am going to have to use it again here in the new future.

Now to turn my attention to the MSi Z87 M Gaming M-ATX motherboard. It has the very popular Red/Black theme going on....However that does not go with the theme of our build so sorry MSi it has to go.

The Alphacool Eisberg solo is basically a LT-DC 12v pump on steroids. this thing can move some serious water for it's small stature. It also received the golden treatment.

Moving along quite nicely. Once the radiator was painted, I was able to install it with two Bitfenix Specter Pro LED fans.

Got the PSU installed and the Cables run. Not much left now. Just have to install the wrap on the side panel, run the tubes, and wait for the paint to dry on the left side panel.

Does the side panel fit without modification with the MSI 970? I have read elsewhere someone with the windowed version was not able to close the panel. I was curious if that bit of lexan is the difference between fitting and not.

I currently have the same MSI 970 and I would really like to pick up this case, but not if it wont fit.

    Thanks!

It does fit but just barely the card touches the side panel. There is also no cable management what so ever.

Alright guys the build is done. Originally it was going to have an MSi GTX970 in it. However it ended up going out and is in the process of being RMA'd. So I think I'll just leave it out and use it in the office for Podcasts and Reviewers meetings and office stuff. Here are the final photos. Big shout out to Bitfenix UK and V1 Tech for all the support.
