It'll upgrade nicely into a quad when the eventual owner purchases it.

The OS was donated by Altex Electronics, www.altex.com

they are a local Texas supplier of all things geek!

I could have this thing running Vista, but I chose XP since this is going to be a gaming rig, and I wanted to insure games and drivers would work flawlessly.

Hehehe, and I will be needing your signage assistance! I'll be in contact with you in about a week or two, after I am sure I have all of my brands defined, and the side plackard board laid out... I was going to come a calling!

You dont actually think I was going to do a mod without you... did you?

Just because there is *no* possible way that I could leave the boxes closed any longer...

    hehehe

These are rough shots, obviously, but I wanted to share a few insights that I had while taking them...

First off, these cards are HUGE! They are heavy... and thick!
The heatpipe on the mobo for the NB/SB interconnection is very nice!

There are some wavy heatsinks over behind the CPU next to the external ports where the VR's and mosfets and stuff are... good way to increase surface area without increasing height! They also look cool as hell!

The cards are LONG! notice that they extend past the edge of the ATX board... daaaaamn!

I'll get better pics up in the future... but I just wanted to share a little bit before I crashed out tonight!
    :P

They are beautimus and massive cards. I bet they would have trouble getting into a SFF case. Thanks for sharing the pics. Happy Modding to ya.
