 Description:

Mice, mice, mice, and more mice. When looking for a gaming mouse a user has to take all features of the mouse into consideration. Is the mouse the right weight? Does it have all the buttons I need? Is it responsive enough? Does it offer more than the next mouse? These are all common questions that need addressed when choosing a mouse. Today we are going to be taking a look at OCZs Equalizer Laser Gaming Mouse. This is OCZs first step into the mouse market, so lets see what they have to offer the gamers of the world.

 First Impression:

The OCZ Equalizer comes in two different sizes. The OCZMSEQRD is the Desk Top sized mouse where the OCZMSEQRM comes in as the Mobile sized unit. The Equalizer Laser Gaming Mouse comes a "Hot" package. The front, top, and back of the package is cut out to let the consumer get a good view of the mouse the are looking at purchasing. The front of the package also highlights the three main features of the mouse. Laser, Triple Threat Button, and 6 in 1 DPI settings.

On the rear of the package we find things are more informative about the features that the OCZ Laser Gaming Mouse is bringing to the table. Everything is numbered and sectioned out so you know exactly what your getting. One of the main features that gamers are going to like is the 6 - 1 DPI speeds that are adjustable via a single button and can easily be identified by the mouse wheel color. Each of the DPI settings has their own color option for lighting the wheel. These are also 100% usable without the installation of any drivers. Another feature that will draw some interest is the Triple Threat Button. When gaming this allows you to fire three consecutive shots with the single press of the Triple Threat Button. When doing the daily computing tasks this button acts as a Double-Click button.

DPI Color Settings:
- White = 600 DPI
- Green = 800 DPI
- Yellow = 1,200 DPI
- Red = 1,600 DPI
- Red/Yellow = 2,000 DPI
- Green/Yellow = 2,500 DPI
