Logitech G9 Laser Mouse

Sponsor: Logitech

Price: 99.99

 Description:

Logitech has gone in a new direction with their latest gaming mouse. This time they have dedicated a mouse just for that purpose. A whole new design has been created with the G9 along with new ideas, feel, and the best from the past. Can the G9 be the best gaming mouse available?

 First Impression:

When you think of mice the first company that usually comes to mind is Logitech. Logitech has always been an innovator in this field and is always pushing the limits. Their G5 gaming mouse had become a favorite of gamers, but it did not have all the custom settings that would make the mouse strictly for gaming. Another attempt was the cordless G7, nice but the single side button was not a well taken change and having the possibility to have to change out the battery during long gaming session did not appeal to hardcore gamers. Logitech listens to the masses and came out with a G7 that included the second thumb button. How well has Logitech been listening to the voices of their consumers will soon be found out. After months of testing along comes the G9, made for gaming and ready to take your skill to the next level.

As always Logitech produces a striking package for their products. This is also the case with the G9 Laser Mouse. Half box and half blister pack it give you plenty to look at and you are able to place your hand over the mouse to get a sense of how the mouse might feel.

The back of the package displays many different highlights about the new mouse. Plenty of information is given to help you make the right choice.

Not a place on the box is left blank without some sort of information. Some may think that this is sort of over kill, but there might be a specific bit of information that you want and if it is not there then you might not purchase the product. So be glad that they provide all the spec's on the box.

I must say that the package is the best I have ever seen from Logitech. Showing off the G9 Laser Mouse is a large priority for them and Logitech went over the top. The box opens like a book and displays information about the weight system, laser, and etc. On the opposite side you find the extra body showcased like an ancient relic, you could almost hear the background music playing.
