Sunbeamtechs budget case, the Quarterback, is a standard ATX case with some rather interesting features. It has got a unique cooling option called the Core Fan Design that helps keep temperatures down. The case is also tool less and has plenty of room inside for today's larger video cards.
First Impression:
The Sunbeamtech Quarterback comes packaged in a black and white plain cardboard box. The graphics are sparse and there is a list of features on the side of the box. Opening the box you will see that the case is adequately packaged with Styrofoam on the top and bottom of the case. A plastic bag wrapped around the case itself to prevent any blemishes on the case's finish. I prefer to have the entire case completely surrounded with Styrofoam because often during shipping the box will take a ding to the side. With nothing but space between the middle of the case and if the case takes a hit it's usually going to keep on going and hit the case. As I said though the packing is adequate as most cases are packed like this.
Other features to help protect the case during shipping, or as is often the case during setup when you have the door off and laying there, is a plastic protective sheeting on the plexi window. In the picture below you see that Sunbeamtech provided this on only half of the window. Why that is I'm not sure.
