NZXT, a company known for it's unique lineup of gaming hardware, accessories and cases, has added a new case to it's Classic Series. This new case is the NZXT Whisper, a Silent Steel Full Tower. According to some, it is the big brother or a step from the NZXT Hush Mid Tower case. I wouldn't know about that, as I have no experience with the NZXT Hush. However, I do have some experience with cases in general and I think I know what silence is. lol Today we will take a look at the NZXT Whisper Silent Steel Full Tower and find out just what it has to offer us in the way of silent computing. sssh!!! Whisper silent full tower chassis from NZXT, improving upon the
successful of the NZXT HU-001 chassis, the Whisper is another step up
from the Hush. Featured in a large size E-ATX Full Tower, the Whisper
can support up to NINE hard drives and a total of SIX 5.25"; bays with
ample space for large expansion cards. 10mm dampening foams, rubber
grommets, and padded PSU holder are some of the major features in
silence. The NZXT Whisper is the complete solution for the enthusiast
who is not willing to sacrifice silence for performance.
Packaging:
The Whisper arrived in a black retail box that, somewhat bruised and scuffed, had held it's own against the brutal UPS shipping assassins. The front of the box boasts that it is "The next standard for silent performance." .... while the side listed the features and specifications.
On the rear of the box we find several images of the NZXT Whipser along with short snippets about certain features,
I was greeted by the front door panel of the NZXT Whiser upon opening the box.
The NZXT Whisper box was made of nice thick heavyweight cardboard and the Whipser was encased in 1" thick foam to keep it stationary in the box, as well as to protect the case.
