Inside
the box, the HornetTek Travel Plus sits in a cardboard
compartment with a thin piece of foam to keep it from banging loosely
against the lid of the box. The Travel Plus is wrapped in plastic to
keep it from being scratched and / or dusty. Along
with the Travel Plus we find that HornetTek has included, the screw
pack, USB 2.0 Y-cable, instruction booklet and a pouch just big enough
for the Travel Plus.

Looking at the Travel Plus, I feel one of the most favorable features is the fact that the overall size is kept fairly compact, which will make for easy transportation from location to location. It measures 7.5 x 6 x 1.5 inches and would easily fit into your coat pocket. The aluminum housing and minimal parts will give us a secure feeling in the event that the Travel Plus was to take a trip we hadn't planned for it (a short fall to the ground). The aluminum housing will also offer the SATA drive a little help in dissipating the heat that is produced during usage. So let's dig in and see if the Travel Plus is going to fit your needs.
