 Description:

Today we will be taking a look at the Jetway NC96FL-510-LF Mini ITX / IPC motherboard. Jetway manufactures some of the best MINI ITX motherboards on the market and I have no doubt that the NC96FL-510-LF, Jetway's latest dual core Intel Atom based board will be a testament to that.

 First Impression:

Mini ITX boards have become quite popular with uses varying from HTPC (Home Theater Personal Computers) systems, vehicle on boardPC's, and in computer modding as well. The newer mini ITX boards have several advantages over full-size motherboards such as lower power consumption, small size of course and the multitude of places it can be installed. However, past mini ITX boards (like some of the newer ones) have had their share of drawbacks as well, most notable is the less actual computing power compared to full size desktops. Companies like Intel and board manufacturers like Jetway are going to great effort to make considerable advances in that respect. The newer D510 dual core Intel Atom processors (Pineview) seem to have fared very well thus far. Let's take a look at Jetway's JNC96FL-510-LF and see just how well it does.

Other than some cool artwork, company logo, and some text about low energy consumption and being environment friendly, there is not a whole lot info on the front of the box. However, even though it isn't a lot of information on the box as a whole, the side of the box does show some basic specifications of the board within. Below is a more detailed list of specifications.
