Price: 99.99

Author: Tazz

Published: Wed, Jun-21-2006

 Description:

Thermaltake is a well known manufacturer of computer cases and accessories. Today's market requires a good design packed with maximum options. Today we are going to look at Thermaltake's HTPC called the Tenor. HTPC cases are becoming a very popular choice for users. It can used as a Home Theater PC as well as do normal job tasks. A lot of people run a file sharing server, web server, and games from the same system. With a few additional items added to the mix, your system can easily be adapted to an HTPC which will allow you to play DVD's for the family, with the appropriate capture card you can also record video from your TV and so forth. The Tenor is very accommodating, allowing the use of full-size ATX motherboards and several expansion slots with plentiful room for hard drives.

 First Impression:

Upon receiving the Tenor. Everything arrives in great shape. No signs of mishandling or anything of the likes. The case is well packed in its box and covered to protect the pain.

Included are the instructions, cloth to wipe any finger prints off with, and the needed screws and studs.

As you can see the Tenor has several great features to bring with it. This being a desktop setup, it's obviously going to run into space issues for some applications. There is a place for everything needed to setup your HTPC though. The Tenor is offered in two color choices, Black or Silver. Both look good but I have a feeling the Black will be the most common choice.
