Bluebeard's Revenge is a mod that I recently did for Corsair on their new Obsidian 800D chassis. The main idea behind the mod was to focus on the Obsidian 800D without compromising its performance and key features. Modding a PC case for most of us here generally means we have no problem in hacking up a case. Well, I am going to have to restrain the urge to hack this monster up and keep things on a moderately tame level.
This case is an industrial themed case mod with hammered metal and copper accents based off of the UT3 and Call of Duty gaming clan I am co-leader of, .:vVv:. a.k.a. Venimus, Vidimus, Vicimus. Which is Latin for We came, We saw, We conquered ... the plural derivative of Veni, Vidi, Vici .. I came, I saw, I conquered. It was built in honor of our Clans 5 year anniversary.
After doing a few modified and special paint/themed cases someone asked
if I could do a Harley Davidson themed case. So, I told them to let me
think it over and I would see what I could come up with.
About a week later I stopped at a cpu store in another town, I was
actually looking for a case with a some chrome embellishments. In their
junk pile they had this custom white case with two chrome plated front
air grills. I have no idea of who manufactured the case, but the design
looked ok and I could see a spark of an idea began.
Meshie originally started as my MI themed case. As with most of my
cases I normally do not go to any massive extremes, I have always liked
the subtle approach. I try to keep the basic idea of the case intact
while still modifying everything I can in the process. The idea behind
Meshie was to do a mod semi-based on the looks of the site,
incorporating several of the designs into the case. The idea got side
tracked a couple of times by deadlines which eventually ended with it
being renamed Meshie. I made several revisions to my design over that
last few months for various reasons. This mod is loosely based off of
my original MeanGreen mod which used a similar case and front panel
mesh mod.
I had made the "Rescue PC" custom pc to make it easier to travel to other peoples homes but this time I wanted something for my house. This hardware test bench would serve me two purposes. One, it would allow me to check mine and friends hardware at my home with ease. Two, it would also allow me to test review computer hardware we get here at Modders-Inc.com.

CPU Magazine asked me if I would make a
case mod for them to give away at QuakeCon 2006 and well how could I
say no...lol. After looking at the case I was given and thinking why it
was being built (QuakeCon) it was obvious that I should do something
about the new id game coming out... Enemy Territory:Quake Wars. So
after tracking down some screenshots and looking thru them I stumbled
upon the answer.
