Thermaltake Swing (VB6000SNS)

Sponsor: Thermaltake

Price: 60.00

Author: Tazz

Published: Thu, Jan-18-2007

 Description:

Time for another case review and today we are going to take a look at the Swing case from Thermaltake. This case resembles the look of the Tsunami and Soprano mid tower cases. The Swing has a stylish front panel design which leaves some room for the modders out there. In the time spent writing the review I have already had several ideas that a modder could do to the case to make it their own.

 First Impression:

The Swing comes in an attractive looking box that displays the main features of the case. Once removing the Swing from the box it is held in the center of the box using 2 pieces of Styrofoam (top and bottom) and is covered in plastic. The box would have to take a pretty good hit for the case to receive any damage.

Features:

High efficiency ventilation: 12cm silent fan in rear
Tool - Free when installing 5.25" & 3.5" device
Dual USB 2.0, IEEE 1394 Firewire, Audio & Speaker ports
Stylish streamline form design
Thumb-screws for easy opening side panel
EMI protection spring
