This is the idea that I started with:

The first step was to contact the guys over at V1 Tech to see if they could make me the fan grills. Which they did and they came out great! The sun symbol is being used for my power supply and the second one that was meant for my rad I decided to use it for a light box, but that is still to come.

Once I got the fan grills I then started to paint the other components. The Thermaltake orange Riing fan blades were very easy to remove. There is no safety O-rings so all you do is carefully apply equal pressure to the back and they pop right out. I went with white so they would match my mobo and once they were done it was like Gigabyte and Thermaltake had collaborated to make these.

The next thing I did was paint the Reservoir. All that I did for that was I went and bought sticker printer paper from staples and google searched the image for an estus flask. It was like fate because the first image result was perfect size and look. all I did was print it, and cut it out and place it on the reservoir. All the paint I used was Rustoleom paint and primer mix in satin white/ black.

One of the tings you might notice as well is that I'm using a NZXT Hue+ and this is so that I can use the candlelight mode in the CAM software. It fits dark souls and my theme perfectly.

With the way the build was looking I just wasn't satisfied with the empty space and lack of light around the power supply. So I decided to make a light box out of plexiglass. Since this was a very arts and crafts type piece I made sure to take pics of the process the whole way though for you guys. Also I'm really happy with how it turned out.

The hard part was putting all of the letter stickers on and then trying to remove them while the paint was still semi wet. They were also very cheap so I had to heat the piece up a bit so they would come off easy. That's all the progress I have so far, but next I will be working on a light box for the Dark Souls Logo. Let me know what you guys think, and I'll keep you updated with my progress.

Also another side note, I'm going to be working on a couple of G1 and 30th anniversary stickers for the ssd and hue+ to make it more in the realm of the competition and not just the mobo in the theme.

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I thought something might be wrong cause it's only showing the one picture. I uploaded them all the same. Is there something I'm missing?

I believe I got all the pictures to upload correctly. Looks like the site only likes if you upload one at a time.

Final reminder for the deadline which is tomorrow November 15, 11:59 PST.

For those having trouble editing their profile on the Gigabyte mod2win website, the registration has been reopened so users can either resubmit a profile or leave a message here so I can forward to Gigabyte and they can re-open the account on their end.

I have entered another submission and titled it "official entry" hopefully they see the errors in the old entry, and see the new one instead.
