Colorful Announces Fleet of GeForce GTX 1070 Graphics Cards

Chinese motherboard and graphics giant Colorful has announced their video card line-up based on NVIDIA’s GeForce 1070 graphics card. With a 16nm FinFET Pascal GPU and 1920 CUDA Cores, the GeForce GTX 1070 packs a punch without hurting the wallet (too much), in fact these are expected to sell much faster than the GTX 1080 which sold out within minutes in some places. Colorful’s line-up includes the Colorful iGameGTX1070 X-TOP-8G, Colorful iGame GTX1070 U-TOP-8G and Colorful GTX 1070-8G Founders Edition graphics card.

Both the iGameGTX1070 X-TOP-8G and Colorful iGameGTX1070 U-TOP-8G feature Colorful’s iGame Modular Structure Design having the PCB, cooling fin, rear plate and catch are integrated to a integrated frame centering on PCB while having the top plate separate and easy for modders who want to customize it. Each have an 8+2 phase digital VRM and a 3-fan active cooling design.

There is also a Founder’s Edition available of course which is available immediately from June 10 (non-Founder’s Edition models are available by the end of June). Each GeForce GTX 1070 has 8GB of GDDR5 video memory running at an effective clock rate of 8Ghz on a 256-bit bus. NVIDIA Founder’s Edition cards have reference design PCBs, components and cooler while non-FE cards can be completely customized depending on the AIB manufacturer’s wishes.
