The power supply market has been growing at a considerable rate lately. Several units are being released boasting anywhere from 600w - 2kw of power. The demand of high end computers is pushing manufactures to squeeze every bit of power out of a PSU they can. Today we are going to take a look at one of 2the Max's power supplies called the GPX750.
First Impression:
2the Max has been established since 1984 and has adhered to the principle of "The Customer Comes First, Quality Is Fundamental". 2the Max has achieved professional certifications (ISO 9001:2000) accredited by Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency; and has been awarded the "Q-Mark Quality Service" award by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. They have several product lines manufactured under different brand names such as "2the Max", "MaxPower", and "Maxtron", which are very popular among users in Hong Kong and abroad.
The GPX750 comes packed in an attractive looking box. It shows off its modular interface on the top of the box, while listing off its specifications on the bottom side of the box.

Here we have a shot of the GPX 750 straight out of the box. The 14CM low noise fan should be more than capable of keeping the GPX 750 cool at a respectable level. The finish is a Bronze Metallic finish with a semi-gloss to it.
Looking above you will see that the modular cables are fully sleeved and nicely labeled. This is a nice feature for those that do run windowed cases and do like to show things off a little. Being modular will also help in keeping the inside of the case as tidy as possible. You only have to use the cables you need. There is no need to ball up any extras and tuck them in some cramped area, simply leave the ones you don't need in the box.
