 First Impression:

  Packaged in a cardboard box, that can also serve as a carring case, we see that Silverstone has given us plenty of details to read on the box about the NS3111 NAS. The enclosure is available in two different colors with one being Black and the other Silver.




The details described on the back side of the box tells you why the NS311 is different from any other type of hard drive enclosure and how it enteracts with the rest of the items on your home network.

With the introduction of MS01, a 3.5” HDD enclosure, SilverStone engineers took another step forward and came up with NS311, a dual function HDD enclosure with LAN connection capability. The innovative and practical NS311 is a network attached storage device, created with all of the distinctive SilverStone characteristics, perfect for small office or small team environment that needs the ability to store information as well as sharing them via network connection. Use Ethernet connection for fast data transfer or USB connection as secondary transmitting method, the quiet-operating all aluminum NS311 makes a perfect addition for secure, cost-effective and space-saving solution that will make anyone's life much easier!
