 Description:

When it comes to buying your computer components, making the right decision is becoming increasingly harder. Just about any component has a slue of options to choose from. Mouse pads are no different; there are literally tons of styles, designs, materials, and types to choose from. Today we are going to take a look at one of the popular choices out there, the SteelSeries SteelPad QcK heavy.

 First Impression:

SteelSeries has been producing high quality mouse pads for several years. The original pads (SteelPad 4D and SteelPad 4S) proved that SteelSeries had a great product. SteelSeries now offers 9 different mouse pads to choose from. Today we are taking a look at one of their cloth mouse pads called the SteelPad QcK heavy. There are a total of three sizes of the QcK pad, the heavy being the largest coming in at 450mm x 400mm x 6mm (17.7 x 15.7 x 0.23 in).

The SteelPad QcK heavy is blister packed for a hanging display setup. The package shows the lower section of the pad with the material used for the pad and the SteelSeries logo visible. The SteelPad QcK heavy came packaged in a small cardboard box, looking at the first image you can see that it did take a little damage. We have no worries though, with the SteelPad QcK heavy being a cloth pad, the only thing that's going to damage it is if the container was cut open.

The package lists the features and specifications of the SteelPad QcK heavy. It also shows a few of the well knows Teams / Clans that support it.

Quote from SteelSeries website:

SteelPad QcK heavy is a monster among desktop cloth pads. Nothing less. It is a super-sized mouse pad made of a high quality cloth material with a specially designed non-slip rubber base which prevents the pad from sliding; no matter what surface the mouse pad is placed on.

It's important to notice the difference between SteelPad QcK heavy and all other mouse pads from our SteelPad product line. This mouse pad features extremely heavy thickness which results in a very unique feeling. While the mouse pad is much more soft and comfortable to the touch, the height is also fairly massive, reaching a total of 6mm (0,23in).

Features:
  • XXL-sized cloth mouse pad
  • Heavy thickness eliminates uneven surfaces
  • Ideal for low sensitivity mouse settings
  • Compatible with all mice
  • Specially designed non-slip rubber base
  • 450mm x 400mm x 6mm (17.7 x 15.7 x 0.23 in)
Specifications:
  • Surface area on your desk to accommodate a mouse pad 18" x 16" in size.
