Logitech diNovo Edge

Sponsor: Logitech

Price: 199.99

 Description:

Logitech introduces the diNovo Edge ultra slim Bluetooth keyboard.  This thin rechargeable keyboard is not only functional but highly stylish.  The gloss black and brushed silver finish with back lit controls add a high end feel.  Bluetooth technology combined with functional extras mean there should be a lot to love about this keyboard.

 First Impression:

Once again Logitech pulls through with phenomenal packaging.  With large high quality pictures you are able to see exactly what you are going to be getting.  Smaller pictures highlight the best features and all the specs and system requirements are written right there on the side.

I must admit though that when I first received the Logitech diNovo Edge I was surprised with how large the box was.  I was expecting some super slim keyboard and the box was 4" thick.  For example I received a G15 as a gift last year for Christmas and the packaging was  smaller than the Edge's.  The G15 is a huge keyboard so this had me curious and a bit confused. Once opening the packaging the reason is quite plain and simple.  This keyboard was the best packed tech item I have ever received!  Two compartments inside with everything in a little cubby hole.  I felt like a spy who had a briefcase with an unassembled sniper rifle inside.  Well maybe it wasn't that dramatic but you get the idea.

All components for the keyboard are stacked neatly in their own little compartments.  Not only does this look cool but it is also useful for when you want to move or take the keyboard on a trip.  Simply keep the box and put everything back in it's place.

What Logitech has to say about the diNovo Edge:

"An ideal partner for any high-end computer, the ultra-slim Logitech diNovo Edge delivers the ultimate in feel and response. The revolutionary TouchDisc with hyper-speed scrolling and pixel-perfect control makes trackpads obsolete. A slim recharging base doubles as a keyboard stand. Work longer thanks to the longer-lasting Li-Ion batteries, and more securely via Bluetooth wireless technology. Combine it with the world's most advanced mouse, the Logitech MX Revolution, for a premium desktop experience!"

Features :

PerfectStroke key system
A precision micro-scissors mechanism distributes typing force evenly across key surfaces, making every stroke natural and fluid.
Stylishly sleek
Laser-cut from a single piece of Plexiglass and set in a brushed aluminum frame, the diNovo Edge makes a bold statement.  Only 11 mm thick!
  Elegant charging base
Put your keyboard on display while charging via the slim base/stand.  Advanced Li-ion batteries recharge faster and last longer.

TouchDisc scrolling
A new type of touchpad, the TouchDiscâ„¢ unifies scrolling, selection, and cursor control. Scroll at hyperspeed with a touch of your finger.
Backlit stealth controls
Hidden hot keys light up at a touch, and fade into the background when not in use. The touch-sensitive volume slider gives you precise, fingertip audio control.
  Bluetooth wireless technology
Bluetooth wireless technology ensures seamless, secure operation from up to 30 feet.
