When putting together a new build, picking out the components can be much harder than building the actual computer. Especially when it comes to selecting a case. Most of the components in a build will ever be seen by a few people aside from yourself. Components such as storage, memory and graphics cards will affect the performance of your system, so you go with the best quality you can afford. However, your case is the first thing people looking at your system will see. So, when selecting a case, aesthetics plays a big role in your selection. But what your case looks like shouldn’t be the only thing to consider when buying a case. The build quality and materials, as well as a company’s reputation, can also play a role when selecting a case.
When it comes to high-quality computer components and accessories, Antec has developed a solid reputation in the community since it was first founded in 1986. Whether you’re looking for a small case from their ISK series to mount to a monitor or a gaming case from their Supreme Series, you’re promised the same excellent build quality as long as the Antec name is on that case. But some of my favorite cases Antec produced came from their Performance line of cases. As does the focus of this review, the Antec Performance Series P120 Crystal.
The Antec P120 Crystal is an all-new mid-tower case from Antec. The P120 Crystal combines performance with aesthetics. The P120 Crystal features the minimalism design the Performance Series is so well-known for but brings it to “the next level”. With options for both vertical and horizontal VGA mounting, the P120 Crystal offers plenty of options for customization. So, without further delay, let’s get into the review.
