VIZO Propeller Dual Fan Card

Sponsor: Vizo Technology Corp

Price: $17.99

Author: tech-daddy

Published: Sun, Aug-26-2007

 Description:

VIZO Technology Corp. seems to have been pumping out the attractive mods for the beautiful people as of late, and this review item is yet another visually appealing product from them! Pat those engineers on the back and let's get started, shall we? :)

 First Impression:

The VIZO Propeller is a sleek package. A nice play off of the aerodynamic "wing" look of the cooler, the blister pack maintains the minimalist approach on frontal information, instead allowing the card to sell itself. All of the pertainent info can be found on the back of the package, which if the front of the package does it's job, the user has picked it up and has flipped it over looking curiously for specs! ;) The packaging maintains a nice contrast of silver and black tones to contrast with the light and medium blues of the card. Turning the unit over (come on, you picked it up didn't you?) you are greeted with all the info on the card.

The back is a pleasant place for these old eyee, lots of easy black background with white text of a small size. Notice I did not say *microscopic*. Vendors take note,  1/2 point legaleeze type is not the way to put your info on the back... at least, if you want to make a friend! ;) Black, white, and orange... I like those colors, and you should too! (they sound familiar to me?)

The back continues on to list the following features in crystal clear contrasting clarity:

  • Lower expansion card temperature, such as VGA/PCI/PCI-X/AGP/PCIE
  • Make your system work with excellent performance
  • Dual fans provide the maximum airflow and air pressure
  • Built in cold blue LED Lights
  • Manual fan speed control for your need
  • Vogue design to decorate your PC
  • Low dBA level
  • Easy to install

"Specs, Tech-Daddy! We want to know specs!!!" you say? Who says I don't listen? (nobody ask my wife that, ok?)

  • Dimensions : 207 x 120 x 21.5 mm
  • DC Fan Dimensions : 70 x 70 x 15 mm ( 2 PCS )
  • Bearing Type : Sleeve Bearing
  • Speed : 2200 RPM ~ 3600 RPM
  • Noise Level : 20 ~ 35 dBA
  • Max Air Flow : 28.3(Min:16)CFM
  • Rated Voltage : DC 12 V
  • Rated Current : 0.32 A
  • Compatibility : Expansion Card
    VGA/PCI/PCI-X/AGP/PCIE
  • Weight : 140 g

"Yo, Tech? What all do we get in that elegant package that oozes happiness?"

  • Dual fan card for Expansion card
  • Screw Package
  • No comments on that last bullet item, this is a family site! ;)

    According to VIZO's web site:

"VIZO PROPELLER is a dual fan card which is focused on increasing expansion card cooling effect and making your system work with excellent performance, especially for the ultimate in performance gaming and overclocking your card. Furthermore, its fantastic design with the cold blue LED light which can give you cool and fabulous feeling and make your computer have a gorgeous look. It is a cool stuff not only to give you a faster and cooler PC system, but also bring you the state of the art for your PC."

    *grin*

I love descriptions like this! Just makes me feel happy! So intensely positive!
