The Cooler Master CM690 comes packed in a pretty simple box showing a few high res images of the case. It is well padded to prevent any possibilities of the case receiving any damage during shipment.
Pulling the CM690 out of the box we can see that it does have a bit of a unique appearance to it. The front and top of the case is boasting mesh centers which immediately tell us that we have a case that should produce some excellent cooling. Looking at the pictures above we can see that there are at least four visible fan mounting locations. Hmm... I wonder how many are hidden?

On the bottom of the case you will see that venting is incorporated into the front feet mounting and it uses two large rear feet. This allows for appropriate height to be achieved so that air can be drawn in from the bottom of the case.
Located on the top is the external Audio, USB, Firewire, and E-SATA connections. On the lower right front corner you will find the Power and Reset buttons separated by the HDD activity and Power LED indicators.
