Ultra M998 Mid-Tower ATX Case

Sponsor: Ultra Products

Price: MSRP: $199.99

Author: Tazz

Published: Sun, Jan-13-2008

 Description:

Today we are going to be taking a look at one of Ultras newest cases, the M998. The M998 brings several great features to the table like an aluminum chassis, 11 drive bays, removable motherboard tray, casters, and offers complete accessibility to your hardware just to name a few. Shall we dig in and see just what the M998 is made of?

 First Impression:

The Ultra M998 comes in a standard issue box with a couple of high res shots of the case. The main features are printed up in five different languages on the box. The case is held in place using two large foam pieces. It's also bagged to keep it smudge and scratch free during shipment.

Pulling the case out we can get a better look at it. The case is made of 1.5mm high grade aluminum and utilizes a plastic front panel. The case has a brushed aluminum finish to the panels and offers an almost total black on black design. One of the first things that stands out is the removable chrome motherboard tray.
