 Description:

Today we are going to take a look at one of the Ultra X-Finity (2nd Generation) 500 Watt power supplies. The X-Finity power supply boasts dual rail technology for better power distribution along with a few other nice features. Ultra has been around for a good while now and continue stepping up to the challenge of bringing consumers excellent products.

 First Impression:

The power supply is one of the key components in your computer. If your power supply is of poor quality or overloaded you could have various problems with your computer and not realize that its electrical related. Its always important to buy top quality hardware for your computer. Having reviewed various items from Ultra I am eager to see what kind of results I get with the Ultra X-Finity 500 Watt power supply. Seeing how this is a 2nd generation power supply you can easily come to the conclusion that the first generation had to be pretty good to result in a 2nd generation product being made. Just for a little comparison I am going to run my Ultra X-Connect 500 Watt PSU threw the same steps to see how holds up to the X-Finity.

As with all the other Ultra products I have seen first-hand. The X-Finity comes in an attractive looking box providing the consumer with a full list of information. This definitely would come in handy sitting on the shelf in the store. You are presented with a complete list of connectors supplied, specifications, and circuit protection offered.

The contents of the package include the X-Finity PSU, Power cable, User's Manual, Registration card, and 4 mounting screws. The PSU is wrapped in a transparent bag and fits snugly inside the box.
