Paradigm Xbox 360 mod

A very nice XBOX 360 mod that goes to show you that you can mod anything. The final result came out very stylish and raised the XBOX to the top box status.

 Description:

Choosing the right case is becoming a hard thing to do with so many options out there. With the size, brand, style, color, form factor, and price all weighing heavily on a consumers decision. Lets take a look at one of Ultra Products newest cases, The Ultra Grid. We will see what the Grid brings to the table from all aspects.

 First Impression:

The Ultra Grid ATX Mid Tower case comes packed in a informative box as do most of Ultras products. The above pictures show the front and rear of the case with most of the features listed on the side.

Once you pull the case out you will see its well packed in foam. All sides are covered with at least 1" of styrofoam padding. The case is also bagged to protect the finish from being scratched or scuffed up. This is a very good example of how a case should be packaged. I have seen to many times where it comes with just the edges protected and find a puncture in the middle of the box with case having received some form of damage.

Here we have the front and front left views of the Grid. Yielding yet another layer of protection on the front panel. The Grid has the same finish that the Ultra Dragon ATX cases had. It is a higher gloss finish than most other cases offer, and with a little elbow grease you can make it perfect.

The rear view of the case shows the standard ATX layout. The rear fan mount will accept 80, 90, and 120mm fans, which is another plus in my book (not a big issue with the Grid since it comes with 120mm fans installed). Again we can see the excellent quality of the paint job on this beast.

With the protective film removed from the Grid we are able to see the mesh material that covers the front. Also prominent is the one 5.25" external drive bay. The upper right picture shows the CPU intake vent (includes Air Duct). Just below the CPU vent is the VGA vent.

Steel Construction - Constructed of high grade Steel, this case provides a solid foundation for your PC.

Front USB/Audio Ports - Easy access front ports, featuring USB and Audio will allow you to quickly connect external devices, headphones, or even a microphone.

Liquid Gloss Finish -
High Gloss Liquid Gloss Finish will give your computer the sleek design you have been looking for.

Swing Out Bezel -
The swing out bezel hides all unwanted drive bays and conceals the 120mm intake fan. However, the top drive bay can be accessed without opening the door, allowing the user to install the most used drive for easy access.

Cooling System -
With a 120mm intake fan in the front, and a 120mm exhaust fan in the rear, this case provides excellent airflow throughout your case.

CPU Air Duct -
Keep the temperature of your CPU down by bringing cool air directly from the outside onto the CPU.

Tool-less Drive System -
With this tool-less drive system it's simple. Slide the drive in, align the holes, twist the lock, and your done. No tools, no screws, no hassle!

V-Series Power Supply -
Includes a 500 Watt V-Series Power Supply to accommodate all your power needs.

Features:
  • Supports AMD and Intel Motherboards
  • Low Acoustic Noise
  • Meets ATX Version 2.03 and
    ATX 12V Version 1.2 Specifications

     Quote From Ultra

"Strong Steel Construction
The Ultra Grid features an impressive exterior design, implementing a stealth black finish a cool mesh front bezel. The side of the front bezel supports audio input/output jacks as well as two USB ports. The door conceals all but one drive bay, but opening the magnetically latched front door exposes all four 5.25" bays and two 3.5" bays. The interior of the Grid supports full sized ATX, microATX and AT motherboards, has rolled edges and can house up to seven 3.5" (5 internal, 2 internal/external) and four 5.25" drives utilizing a fully tool-less/screw-less mechanism. The side panel features an Intel TAC 1.1 compatible CPU duct and VGA vent. Grid also comes with a front 120MM intake fan and 120MM exhaust fan. Power is provided by Ultra's V-Series 500W power supply. As with all Ultra cases, the Grid comes with a three year limited warranty and is easily upgraded to a lifetime warranty with online registration. This warranty also applies to the included power supply!"
