A few months ago American Freak had the pleasure of taking a look at the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3100. Today Logitech has sent us one of their newest combos, the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5000. Two of the main things you will quickly notice different between the two combos are the added Bluetooth technology and the LCD display at the top center of the keyboard.
First Impression:
Logitech is one of the leading manufactures of computer peripherals. Logitech has been introducing top of the line products for years and keep raising the bar as they go. Let's take a look at their latest keyboard and mouse combo, the Cordless Desktop MX 5000 Laser.
The Logitech MX 5000 came in a box about twice the size need and was packed with plenty of shipping peanuts (my wife hates those things). The box looks like it took some wear on the way here though.
Even though the box does show a little wear on it, there was ample room in the. The MX 5000 came through with no problems.
The main packaging of the MX 5000 showcases its main features and design. There is more than enough information provided to allow a consumer to make and educated decision on purchasing the product.
After opening the main package you will find yet another box. It's almost like Christmas time. In the final box you will see everything is well packed inside the box very tight. This will aid in keeping things from getting broken during shipment.
