Mushkin HP2-6400 DDR2 Memory (2x1GB set)

Sponsor: Mushkin

Price: 265.51 USD at the Mushkin web store

Introduction

With DDR2-800 still in the early stages, PC users have to often pay a lot more for the latest and greatest memory products. The Mushkin High Performance (HP) Series memory is just what the doctor ordered. Mushkin offers the HP2-6400 at an affordable price with all the features enthusiasts want.

First Impression

The memory was shipped to me directly from Mushkin in a plan brown box. I already knew I was getting some memory, so why waste a fancy box for shipping. Its what inside that counts.

Ah the prize inside was 2x 1GB memory modules safely packaged. This is way better than a box of Cracker Jacks.

The Mushkin HP 6400 memory sticks are displayed in the ever so familiar blister pack. Very little detail is shown on the front of the insert card. The memory timing is displayed on each stick in the form of stickers. This is very handy as you don't have to write it down or keep the package to refer back too.

The back of the blister pack contains information about how to install the memory and it includes some trouble shooting help. This is a nice touch since you just installed the memory and if you had any issues you would not be able to get to the web site for help.
