In 3D Mark 11, we used the Performance test option. The MSI A88X-G45 Gaming Motherboard and the Gigabyte board are extremely close.

The results are the same here, very very close.

I chose to test both integrated graphics as well as a discreet card to verify the MSI A88X-G45 Gaming Motherboard was able to transfer data in the same realm as other A88X motherboards. In our integrated graphics tests the battle goes back and forth.

Testing with the VisionTek R9 280X didn’t reveal any weakness in the MSI A88X-G45 Gaming Motherboard when compared to the Gigabyte G.1 Sniper. All tests were less than 1 frame per second different.
