Be Quiet Silent Base 800 Computer Case Review

A Closer Look »

There is one thing I love more than anything in the PC industry. It is almost literally a sickness with me. I LOVE PC Cases. To me, they are more than just a box to house your hardware. On top of being a blank canvas, the case is what gives your RIG its character and attitude. Do you want a sleek and sexy low-profile like a sports car? Maybe a sinister aggressive look like a weapon of mass destruction or a minimal urban style? Whatever style you are into, there is a case out there for you. With that, let’s take a look at Be Quiet’s first PC case: the Silent Base 800.

The front of the package has the Be Quiet logo in the upper right hand corner.  In the center of the box is a large color illustration of the product. Below that is the product name and color option; at the bottom is a list of the 5 key features .

The rear of the package has the product name in the upper right hand corner with the brand in the upper left hand corner. In the center is an illustration of the product from two angles with eleven of the key features. Surrounding the illustration, is a small paragraph telling us a little about Be Quiet. Once we remove the product from its cardboard tomb, it comes with ample packaging to ensure it reaches its destination in one piece. The case itself comes in a cloth bag. Somewhere in the depths of the box you will find the user’s manual. The feet for the case are located on the bottom of one of the foam end pieces which come wrapped in a plastic bag.
