Packaging and Unboxing

Gigabyte 1660 Super unboxing

The packaging for the 1660 Super has the Gigabyte logo printed on the top left-hand corner on the front of the box. In the middle of the box is the distinct robotic eye logo synonymous with Gigabyte products. On the bottom right corner is the Geforce GTX logo we all know and love, followed by the 1660 Super product branding. On the bottom right we find the Gaming OC 6G branding. Below that are badges that represent the ket features of the Gigabyte 1660 Super. These features include RGB Fusion 2.0 compatibility, Gigabyte’s Windforce cooler, and the OC edition, meaning the card is factory overclocked.

The back of the box for the Gigabyte 1660 Super has depictions of a few of the key features of the card. At the top left is an image and brief description of the Windforce 3X cooling system. This includes an image of how the alternating fans work on the Windforce 3X cooler, as well as an image of where the copper heat pipes make contact with the GPU. Next, there is a picture of where the RGB lighting is on the side of the Gigabyte 1660 Super. There is also an image of the protective backplate on the 1660 Super. The last thing of note is a diagram of the I/O on the Gigabyte 1660 Super.

Internally, the Gigabyte 1660 Super come packed in a plain black box, with the Gigabyte logo displayed in the center of the box, and nothing else. When opened, there is another thin black box with the Gigabyte logo in the center. This thin box contains the paperwork that comes packed with the Gigabyte 1660 Super.

The accessories that come with the Gigabyte 1660 Super consist of a graphics card quick start guide, as well as a driver disk. The Gigabyte 1660 Super comes in an anti-static plastic bag and packed in a soft foam cut out. I’m a big fan of soft foam, especially when it comes to the graphics card. I feel the soft foam offers optimal protection.

Now that the card is unpacked, its time to take a closer look at the Gigabyte 1660 Super.
