Some typists just want a familiar full size keyboard with tactile feedback and good back-lighting. For those typists, the Thermaltake Poseidon Z plus Smart keyboard is a comfortable fit. The Poseidon Z plus is what I consider a mechanical keyboard for those who desire the benefits of a mechanical keyboard without the proprietary features and higher price tags many manufacturers offer on premium models. The Z plus does have a couple of features that can be useful without being a distraction.

The packaging of the Thermaltake Poseidon Z plus is quite simple with fewer badges and logos than most other gaming products. I prefer this type of packaging since I feel the need to read every badge and award on the keyboard. Most of these feature I find to be a bit gimicky so I like that Thermaltake has opted to keep this to a minimum. Thermaltake does seem enthusiastic about is the Bluetooth capability of the Poseidon Z plus and compatible Tt eSports Plus+ Professional mobile app.
On the packaging, I noticed a 5-year warranty. Since the keys used on the Poseidon Z plus is not a traditional Cherry MX blue, Thermaltake would want a buyer to feel more secure with their purchase. Unboxing the contents of the Poseidon Z plus reveals a warranty card, quick installation guide, and app setup guide. Needless to say Thermaltake keeps the packaging to a minimum. This is definitely a plus since there is less garbage to throw out later on.
