The front of the box has the Viper Gaming logo with their signature Viper Head on the top left-hand corner. There is a picture of the V765 with its RGB lighting illuminated on the center of the box. On the top right, there is the Viper logo and V765 branding. Along the right side is RGB branding as well as the type of switch used. In the case of the V765, we received, its Kailh White box switches. The last thing of note on the front is the cut out over the up key. This allows you to test out the switch and get a feel for how the keyboard feels.
The rear of the packaging has a lot of information, so let’s hit the key points. On the top left, there is an image of the Viper V765 with the main features highlighted. Some of the features are the RGB backlighting, Kailh box switches, and the volume control wheel to name a few. There is also an exploded view of the Kailh white box switch, with the specifications of the switch just below the image of the V765. To the right, we see the Viper logo and V765 branding across the top. Just below that is a screenshot of the Viper RGB software with the specifications of the Viper V765 keyboard. The last thing of note on the back of the box is the “Gamer Certified” Viper logo on the bottom left, next to the UPC code. Since the box is the least exciting part of the review, on to the keyboard itself.
Being a keyboard, there isn’t much for accessories. The biggest being the magnetic wrist rest. next is a small red envelope with the Viper logo on the front. Inside this envelope, you’ll find a quick start guide for the Viper V765 and a couple Viper head logo stickers. Last this in the box is the key cap removal tool. Great accessory to include. Now, let’s take a closer look at the Viper V765.
